Mobilizing Public and Private Funding for NDCs and NAPs: From Policies to Solutions

COP30 Event

Connecting governments, companies, investors, and civil society to mobilize investment in systems-level resilience and decarbonization.

Date: 18 November 2025

Time: 13:15 – 14:45

Place: Auditorium A2, AgriZone, Belém, Brazil

Organizers: Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA), CDP, We Mean Business Coalition

Realising the ambition of countries’ new NDCs and NAPs will necessitate an unprecedented mobilization of capital, as well as policies and regulatory frameworks that support investment in systems-level resilience and decarbonization. They provide significant opportunities for governments to drive sector investment into climate-resilient, net-zero-aligned, and nature-positive economies. Governments, companies, investors, and civil society all have a critical role to play.

At COP30, we are bringing them together to identify:

  • How the policy and regulatory landscape establishes a feedback loop to enable and implement  more ambitious national climate commitments.

  • The role of the private sector in driving innovative, local solutions and building prosperous, green economies.

  • What civil society organizations are doing to support the mainstreaming of NDCs and NAPs, inspiring us to go farther, faster together.
