Strategic Advisor on Water and Climate, Deltares

Harm Duel has over 30 years of experience in international projects at Deltares. He has a background in wetland ecology.

Within Deltares he is developing international programs and collaborations on (transboundary) water resources management and climate adaptation strategies. He was leading the design and launch of the International Panels on Deltas and Coastal areas (IPDC).

Harm Duel is coordinating STARS4Water project aiming to develop the next generations tools and data services to support the implementation of the EU water resilience strategy at river basin level. Within the WRT team, Harm is leading the country engagement committee that is responsible for the intake of new countries and the coordination of the WRT activities in the countries.

Leading the Deltares WRT team, Harm is also a member of the WRT steering committee.
